His Legacy Kevin Lorne Schultz, 59, passed away April 14, 2023. He was born on May 30, 1963, in Grosse Pointe Park, Michigan to Lorne Schultz and Monica (Addison) Schultz. Kevin married the love of his life, Kimberly Hoffner, on August 22, 1986, in Almont, Michigan. Kevin will be remembered as a kind man with a big heart and lots of patience. He enjoyed watching and playing golf, and walking and biking on the trails. Kevin was a gentle spirit and was happiest when he was home with his family. Kevin was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
His Family Kevin will be missed by his wife, Kimberly Schultz; aunt, Sandra (Eric) Golke; cousins, Lisa (Kees), Amy (Rob), Christine (Karl), Stephanie (Joshua); step-sisters, Becky (Jan), Christina (Rick); nephews, Christian, Zack; niece, Taylor (Brent); mother and father in law, Carol & Harry; sister-in-law, Tammy (Phil); brothers-in-law, Harry Jr. (Dana), Jason (Jill). He is preceded in death by his parents, Lorne and Monica Schultz; grandfather, Carl Schultz; and step-father, Terry Bopp.
His Farewell Kevin's family and friends will gather Wednesday, April 19, 2023, from 5:00PM-8:00PM at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel. His Community Farewell will be held on Thursday, April 20, 2023, at 11:00AM (10AM gathering), at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel. Pastor Dan Quagliata will serve as celebrant. I remember riding back to Michigan with Kevin from some southern state when we worked at CEI together. Singing along with a BTO cassette he put in going through the mountains. I have not seen him for years and regret staying in touch. What a great person that everyone will miss...
