Jane Kevin Waite, a beloved figure known for her adventurous spirit and caring nature, passed away on November 13, 2024 at the age of 73. Born in Ironton, Missouri, on October 13, 1951, Kevin lived a life filled with joy, kindness, and a deep love for family and animals.
Kevin's love for life was evident in her many hobbies and interests. She found great joy in dancing and cherished every moment spent with her family and friends. She had a particular fondness for, caring deeply for a variety of creatures including chickens, geese, pigs, turkeys, horses, and exotic animals.
She is survived by her three daughters: Jane Alissa Faris DeGonia and Dennis Wood of O'Fallon, MO; Sidney Sudmeyer and Josh; and Missy Huffman of St. Charles, MO. Kevin's legacy continues through her siblings, with six sisters who held a special place in her heart: Lisa Taylor and husband Dwain of Caledonia, MO; Victoria Jones of Playa Uverito; Kimberly Faris-Fisher and husband Bobbie of Bismarck, MO; Abby Tesene and David of Manhattan, KS; Sandy Hobson and Max of Caledonia, MO; and Teri Worden of Shelbyville, KY. Additionally, she leaves behind grandchildren Colton, Kenzi, many step-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and dear friends.
Kevin was preceded in death by her parents, Jane (Cantwell) Faris and Rubin Faris, who served as guiding lights throughout her life, and sisters, Amy Marie Jarvis and Monica Helen Reed
Her unforgettable spirit and the warmth she brought to those around her will be profoundly missed.
