Kevin David Westlake, 66, of St. Charles, passed away peacefully on May 15, 2025.
Kevin was a dedicated chef who truly loved his craft. Cooking wasn't just a career-it was his lifelong passion. He took great pride in preparing meals that brought people together, and he found deep joy in the creativity and care that cooking required. In addition to his culinary achievements, Kevin also earned a degree in automotive technology, reflecting his wide range of interests and skills.
Outside of work, Kevin found happiness in life's simple pleasures-listening to classic rock on KSHE 95, watching WWE and NASCAR, and relaxing in his garage, his favorite spot to spend time and unwind.
Kevin is survived by his daughter, Gabby Westlake; grandson, Tony Clark III; brother, Randy ( Gail) Westlake; sister, Dawn (Steve) Ross; as well as many coworkers, friends, and extended family. He was preceded in death by his daughter Jenny Lee Proffer, and his parents, David and Alice Westlake.
