Khloe May Beckhorn, affectionately known as "May May" by her loved ones, passed away suddenly on Monday, October 6, 2025. She was born on September 19, 2008, in Elmira, NY, to Kassandra Randall and Charles Griffith.
Khloe was a shining star who left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege to know her. Her vivacious spirit and zest for life were evident in her creative pursuits, and her dedication to her family and community.
Khloe was filled with creativity and intelligence; she could light up a room with her heartfelt smile and infectious enthusiasm. She was deeply loved and admired by her family and peers.
As a student, Khloe was a committed scholar and a proud member of the National Honor Society. She was also an active participant in her school's Crochet Club, Debate Club, and Yearbook Club. Her love for culture and people was evident in her involvement with the Corning Sister Cities International as well, for which she was also president. Khloe was in her senior year at Corning-Painted Post High School and looked forward to celebrating her many accomplishments with family and friends at graduation, and about the future that she had planned beyond high school.
Beyond her academic and extracurricular engagements, Khloe was a young woman with a wide array of interests. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life like reading, scrapbooking, and making bouquets of flowers. She had a sweet tooth and loved baking desserts of all kinds. Khloe also had a flair for fashion, and had fun accessorizing outfits, was fond of designer clothes and handbags, and doing her makeup and nails.
A lover of music, Khloe was a massive fan of Taylor Swift and was a true "Swiftie". Through her love of Taylor Swift, she also became a Kansas City Chiefs fan, especially of Travis Kelce, who is engaged to Taylor, and she couldn't have been more excited for them!
Khloe is survived by her loving mother, Kassandra (Jordan) Randall; sister "Ya Ya" to Christopher and J.J., step-brother, Tayden, and step-sister, Arya; father, Charles Griffith; half-brother, Corbin; great-grandmother, Patricia "Nana" Buman; grandparents, Tammy "Mimi" and Joe "Pop Pop" Carey, and Zeno "Poppy" and Kathy "Mima" Randall; cousin, Maggie; uncle, Kyle "Kyky" Landolf, Alexa, and family; aunt, Erin; uncle Joe, aunt Barbie, and CeCe; and best friends, Claire and Wendy. She is also survived by several other aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her maternal great-grandfather, Eugene "Papa" Buman; paternal grandmother, Becky Cartwright; great-grandparents, Vern and Ann (Carey) Benedict; and by two great-uncles.
Please join us in celebrating Khloe's life on Friday, October 10, 2025, from 2:00-5:00 pm at Haughey Funeral Home, Inc., located at 216 East 1st Street,
Corning, New York, 14830. A private Funeral Service, that is by invitation only, will follow. To further honor Khloe, the family asks that you wear her favorite color, light blue, or something with Taylor Swift, or the Kansas City Chiefs.
