Killian "Bubby" Hebert Kupper, Jr.

Killian "Bubby" Kupper, Jr., age 95, peacefully passed away at Belle Maison, in Hammond, Louisiana on Saturday, December 20, 2025. He proudly served his country in the US Air Force. Mr. Kupper retired as an Engineer with DOTD. In his spare time, he enjoyed deer hunting, running his dogs, fishing his trout lines, being outdoors or at his camp with his hunting buddies. Bubby grew his own delicious vegetables in his garden. He was a member of the Pass Manchac Yacht Club. What brought him the most joy was drinking his coffee and reading the newspaper with his wife and picking on her any chance he got. Bubby loved life and spent his time wisely doing the things he loved, making lasting memories his family will cherish forever.

He is survived by his loving wife of 74 years, Joyce Ann Kupper; sister, Jean Kupper Pinion (Durand); as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Killian and Lucille Kupper; siblings, Mary "Tootie" Scanlan (Mike), Inez Lavigne (Milton), Carmen Wolf (Marion "Cookie"), Lionel "Jackie" Kupper (Scottie).

Family and friends are invited to attend Mr. Kupper's visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Ponchatoula on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, from 11:30 a.m. until the funeral service at 12:30 p.m. Interment will follow in Wetmore Cemetery in Ponchatoula.
