Send FlowersMichael Claude Secrease, of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, passed away at his residence on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at the age of 73. He was born on Monday, August 25, 1952, in St Louis, Missouri, the son of the late Claude E. and Rosemary Gibson Secrease.
He was a retired Master Boat Captain with 35 years of service. Michael enjoyed being outdoors. He liked fishing and hunting especially for ducks. He will be sadly missed.
Michael is survived by his wife of 47 years, Pamela Bretz Secrease, son & daughter-in-law, Chris and Jenel G. Secrease, grandsons, Parker Secrease and Cooper Secrease, and his sisters and brothers-in-law, Janet S. and Bob Gilda, and Nancy S. and Ludwig "Pee Wee" Rallo.
He was preceded in death by his son, Brian M. Secrease and his twin brother, Mark Secrease.
Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 100 W. Magnolia St., Ponchatoula, on Sunday, December 14, 2025 from 9:00 to 11:00 am.
A Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday at 11:00 am, with Deacon John Bretz officiating.
Interment will follow at Sand Hill Cemetery in Ponchatoula.
