Kimball Webb Obituary

Published by Legacy on Nov. 7, 2025.
Obituary - Kimball Heywood Webb
If you knew Kimball Heywood Webb, you likely remember his laugh first – the kind that filled a room and made you feel like you belonged there. Born on June 9, 1952, in Holladay, Utah, Kimball lived 73 years guided by faith, humor, and a genuine love for people.
An active and devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Kimball served a mission in Georgia, where he first experienced the warmth and hospitality he would later find again.
He studied at the University of Utah before discovering his true calling in carpentry, where he built not only houses but places for families to grow. As the founder of Taylor Ashwood Homes, Kim believed that craftsmanship was a form of care, that the details mattered because people mattered. His business card read "A taste of chocolate in a vanilla world," and anyone who knew him would agree that he knack for doing things just a little differently.
Some of his kiddos' happiest memories growing up with their dad were summer days sailing the Hobie Cat on Bear Lake, camping on the beaches of Lake Powell, and long drives through southern Utah with the windows rolled down and everyone singing James Taylor.
A dedicated marathoner for more than 40 years, Kim proudly joined the 30-Year Club at his favorite, the St. George Marathon, and crossed finish lines across Utah. He also dedicated more than 15 years to volunteering at Primary Children's Hospital, handing out hundreds of marathon medals to young fighters who inspired him every day.
Kim made everyone feel like they were his best friend. He was never shy about lending a hand, fixing what was broken, or brightening someone's day with a joke and that trademark grin. In the years that followed, he found companionship and love with his Southern Belle, Pahla, and great joy in the family who welcomed him as their own. In the last few years of his life, the love and laughter he shared with Pahla's family became a reminder of how deeply he was loved in return.
He is survived by his wife, Pahla; his daughters Alisa, Lindsey, Hayley, Taylor, and Katie; his son Hayden; his sister Jill; and brothers Larry and Russell. He is preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Marian Webb, and his brother, Doug Webb.
Kim's legacy lives on in the laughter he shared and the kindness he gave. He often reminded others to "keep some sunshine on your face." For all who loved him, the warmth of the sun will forever be a reminder of his spirit, his light, and the joy he brought into this world.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 15, at 11:00 a.m. at 12232 S 3200 W, Riverton, UT 84065. A viewing will be held at the same location prior to the service from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m.
He will be laid to rest at Larkin Sunset Lawn Memorial Park.
With love,
The Kiddos

Kim was an awesome guy. I remember when my husband at the time was out of work and he came over an replaced the hardwood floor in our kitchen and wouldn't let us pay him. He asked me if I was ok without my oven for a few days and that was our forever inside joke. He was a great dad to Taylor,Katie, and hayden. He would always say hi or pop over next door to my house to catch up when picking up the kids. Quick with a joke and his wit. My condolences to his family and the kids. Sorry to hear about his passing. Dad day in earth great day in heaven. Lost a real gentle soul.
