Kimberlee Jo Zanca, 49, of Rutherford, NJ, passed away on October 1, 2025. Born on June 10, 1976, in Hackensack, NJ, Kimberlee was a cherished daughter, mother, and healthcare professional.

Kimberlee graduated from Bay Path University and dedicated her career to helping others as a Phlebotomist and Nurse Assistant, specializing in pediatric care in Hackensack. Her commitment to her work mirrored her passion for life and her ability to bring joy and comfort to those around her.

An athlete from a young age, Kimberlee excelled in gymnastics performing on television and also teaching gymnastics to younger children in later years.

She was on the varsity soccer, swimming, varsity basketball and varsity softball. Her musical talents were displayed as she played the Suzuki-trained violin and French horn in the concert band and marching band, showcasing her diverse interests and abilities. She also was a cheerleader, twirler, flag waver at various times at RHS.

Kimberlee's vibrant personality and generous spirit left a lasting impact on all who knew her. Described by her mother as someone whose "smile, laugh, and joy for life emanated from deep in her soul," she was a beacon of love and kindness. I was so blessed to have been chosen to be her mom. Kim always strived to do everything right, was so loving, fun, generous & kind. God giveth and taketh away. God felt Kim needed to be with him in heaven now.

She is survived by her loving Mother, Lee Frances Brown Zanca and her father, Joseph Zanca; her children, whose names are kept private; her siblings, Tracy LePage and Joseph; and her nieces and nephews, Scott, Shannon LePage, Devon & Jianna Zanca and her Wehrmann & Napotano beloved relatives and her many friends.

Interment for Kim will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Alington, NJ. A service will be held in the Chapel Mausoleum Extension. All are welcome; however dates have not been finalized yet.
