Kimberly Ann Blimmel, age 63, of Erie, passed away unexpectedly at home on Saturday, April 5, 2025. She was born on March 18, 1962, in Johnstown, PA, the daughter of the late John R. and Rosalyn A. Blimmel.
Kim graduated from St. Benedict Academy in 1980, and from Edinboro University with a degree in special education. She worked at various schools in the Erie Area, most recently at the Boys and Girls Club in Erie, a job that she loved.
Kim was a very kind person who loved her nephews and nieces and was always willing to help her family out.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Kathleen Steslicki (Bud), and her stepfather Howard Benson.
Kim is survived by a brother, John R. Blimmel (Nancy), and sisters Karen Blimmel and Kristine Ferrans Blimmel. She is further survived by many nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to call on the family Saturday, May 17, 2025, at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Services Inc. Downtown, 602 W. 10th Street, Erie from 12:00 until 2:00 p.m. with inurnment to follow in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
