Kimberly Lynn Doster, a dedicated Walmart employee at Belmont for over 23 years, passed away unexpectedly due to automobile accident in Richmond County, North Carolina on June 22, 2024. She was born on April 7, 1968, in Gaston County, North Carolina.
Kim will always be remembered for her unwavering love and devotion a mother, grandmother, and sister. She found immense joy in spending time with her family, especially her cherished. Her warm personality and caring nature touched the hearts of all who knew her.
She took great pride in her role at Walmart and considered her colleagues there as part of her extended family. It was evident that working at Walmart brought her immense happiness and fulfillment throughout the years.
Kimberly is survived by her daughter, Kristina Deal; step-son, Reggie Deal, III; grandchildren, Paisley Deal and Taylor Jones; sister, Frances Burns (Jim); brother, Carl Green (Jennie); as well as several nieces and nephews.
Services to honor and celebrate Kimberly's life will be held on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, starting with a Visitation at 1:00 PM followed by a Celebration of Life at 2:00 PM at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home and Cremation in Gastonia with Reverend Dr. C.L. Simmons officiating. The burial will take place at Hollywood Cemetery with the releasing of the doves.
Pallbearers will be Darrin McCoig, Adam McCoig, Lee McCoig, Jason Skidmore, Scott Taylor and Terry Skidmore.
Kimberly Lynn Doster's legacy of love, dedication to family, and joyful spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her. May she rest in peace.
