Kimberly Catherine Jones was called from her earthly home to her heavenly home on March 4, 2025.
Kim was born on December 9, 1968, at St. Agnes Hospital in White Plains, NY to Vinson and Bernadine Oden Jones. Kim accepted the Lord under the leadership of Rev. Benjamin Scott of First Baptist Church McDonald, PA.
Kim was a 1986 graduate of West Allegheny High School. Kim furthered her education at Indiana University of Pennsylvania were she received her Bachelor's of Education as well as her Master's degree in Special Education with a 4.0 GPA.
Teaching was her passion. Kim was employed for over 22 years by Pittsburgh Public School District. After moving to Greenville NC, she taught at various school districts.
Kim enjoyed reading, crafting, shopping, teaching at vacation Bible school, and tutoring youth of all ages during the summer months. Kim especially enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, and coworkers. Kim's absolute joy was her niece Kayla, and her nephew Kyler, and her daily walks with her dog Chloe.
Kim is proceeded in death by her parents, Vinson and Bernadine Jones. She leaves to cherish her memory a brother, Kevin Jones (wife, Katrina Jones) niece Kayla Jones, and a nephew Kyler Jones all of Winterville, NC. Three Aunts Joyce Rose of Rochester PA, Michelle Oden of Charlotte, NC, and Dianna Oden of Bridgeville. She also leaves behind a host of cousins and friends.
Family and friends will be received at a Memorial Gathering on Friday March 14, 2025, from 11am-Noon at Graff- Nation Funeral and Cremation Service LLC. 220 E. Lincoln Ave. McDonald, PA. 15057. Immediately following will be a Eulogy service by Rev. Antoine Lee.
