Kimberly K. Kincer, 66, passed away peacefully on Wednesday evening May 7, 2025 at her home in Vestal after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was predeceased by her parents, William and Beverly Kincer.
She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Michele & Dorian Ames, her brother, Kenneth Kincer, nieces and nephews Tara, Collin, Adam, Angelina, Leah, Lauren, and Catherine. Kim is also survived by her aunts and uncles, Herb and Helen Kincer, Rita (David) Kincer, Gerald Coletti, and numerous cousins.
In addition, Kim is survived by so many people whose lives she touched and who touched her life and helped make each day better. These people include Chyrel, Angel, Connie, Aunt Bea, Lynn, Elaine, and so many others that we may forget to name but you know who you are and we appreciate you. Last, but not least, a very special person who Kim adored and loved, Lori Coney, who recently came back into Kim's life and was with her tirelessly during her last days. Thank you to all who came to visit and put a smile on Kim's face.
Kim worked for local manufacturing companies over the years as a Production Planner and various other positions until retirement in 2012. She was a hard worker and was very proud of her work ethic.
Thank you to the people at Broome Oncology who took care of Kim for the last 25 years. Kim was an inspiration to so many people who she was able to show that you could suffer from cancer and still get out there and live life!! Passing this inspiration to others gave her peace.
Kim was kind (most of the time), forgave easily (even when she probably shouldn't), cranky (some of the time) and had a big heart (always). While she went through a lot over the years, she still cared about whatever her loved ones were going through.
Get your mammograms ladies!
Live life every day to the fullest and spread kindness.

Kim and I spent many a lunchtimes together when we worked on Carlin Road. You were a lucky person if you knew Kim or spent time with her. She touched many lives.

I worked with Kim, and yes she was a great sincere, hard working, and compassionate person! I'm so sorry for the loss of your sister. I know first hand how hard it is to lose a sibling, as I lost my closest sister & best friend when Merina had passed. Still hard to fatham that she is not with us. Thinking of you and your brother at this very sad time for you. God Bless.
