Kimberly Marie Mannos Emery passed away suddenly in bed from illness on June 3rd, 2024, in West Jordan, Utah, at the age of 59. She was born on March 19, 1965, in Salt Lake City. Kimberly was a kind, compassionate, loving, and gorgeous woman, with a heart full of gold and a keen sense of humor. She grew up in Midvale, Utah, and attended Hillcrest High School, class of 1983. She was baptized Greek Orthodox and always held a deep spiritual belief. She was an accomplished gymnast, and a voracious reader. There was nowhere in the world she loved better than her Yia Yia and Papou's Midvale home, with many fond memories playing in their garden, and having sleepovers with her sisters. Later in her life, she developed a discerning eye for home decoration, and loved to discuss her dream home with anyone that would listen.  In 1988 she married Aaron Emery (div. 1995), and in August they had their first child, Nikolos Von Emery, followed by their second child, Alexis Marie Emery in 1990. Kimberly would often say that her greatest purpose in life was to be a mother, and she showered her children with that love and adoration.  The substantial burden of grief once again grips Kimberly's family, a mere 11 months since the passing of her first child, Nikolos. Our hearts ache with the weight of their remembrance. Kimberly is survived by her daughter, Alexis Emery; life partner and soulmate, Zane Jensen; ex-husband, Aaron Emery; granddaughter, Eevee Morales; father, James (Mickie) Mannos; mother, Andrea Gates Burge (Lamont); sister, Jennee Mannos; sister, Melanie Mannos; nephew, Cole Mannos; niece, Sophia Elshazly; and grand-niece, Ava Mannos. She was preceded in death by her son, Nikolos Emery; grandfather John Mannos; grandmother, Mary Saltas Mannos; grandfather Fred Gates; and grandmother, Oral Gates. A visitation service for Kimberly is scheduled for Monday, June 24th, at 10am at the Memorial Mortuaries & Cemeteries located in West Jordan on 6500 South Redwood Road. It will be immediately followed by a memorial service at 11am.  Kim believed in showing love and grace to all that crossed her path. An empath to her core, she was always there to lend a listening ear, and would always endeavor to leave one with a lighter heart. She will forever be remembered by all of those whose lives she touched. She will forever be loved. Peace be with her in paradise with her beloved son. May her memory be eternal.
