Kimberly Martin, 45 of Sheffield Village, passed away suddenly on Sunday, November 7, 2021 after a short illness.
Kim was born October 21, 1976 in El Salvador, adopted in 1977 and brought to her new home. She attended St. Thomas Elementary School and graduated from Brookside High School in 1993. She trained and was state licensed as a pharmacy technician. Among the thing she enjoyed most were scary movies, visiting with friends, rooting for the Browns and Cavs and caring for the menagerie of pets she adopted throughout the years.
Left behind to grieve her loss are her mother, Sandra (nee Conrad) Martin of Sheffield Village; her nephew Andrew Martin of Sheffield Village; her nieces Anwyn Martin of Lorain and Danikah Martin of Ashland and a large extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Kim was preceded in death by her father, Charles Martin; her brother Matthew Martin; maternal grandparents Leroy and Winifred Conrad; and her aunt and godmother Judy Daniels.
Visitation will be Sunday, November 14, 2021 from 1:00pm - 3:30pm at Busch Funeral Home 32000 Detroit Rd., Avon, OH 44011. Visitation will be followed by a brief service at 3:30pm officiated by Rev. Frank Kosem, formerly of St. Jude Parish. Masks are respectfully requested.
Kim will be remembered by those who loved her and knew her best for her love of children and animals; for her fierce loyalty and for her concern and championing of many who crossed her path.
