Kimberly Ann (Coley) Rankin, 58, went to her heavenly home on October 11, 2025, passing at her residence in Hugo, Oklahoma, surrounded by her loving family.

Kim was born on July 29, 1967, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the daughter of Mel Gene Calvin Coley and Peggy Ann (Williams) Buchanan. She was preceded in death by her father, Mel Gene Coley; her brother, Ricky Coley, her grandson, Jace Dwain Melton and her son-in-law, Jieriel Johnson.

Kim spent most of her life in Choctaw County and graduated from Hugo High School in Hugo, Oklahoma, Class of 1986. She worked several jobs throughout her life and had worked in the Accounts Payable department at the Choctaw Memorial Hospital for the last 16 years.

Beyond her professional career, Kim played an active role in her family's lives. Whether that was going to sporting events to watch her grandkids, taking the grandkids down the backroads to look for deer, or playing dominos with her mom and sisters, she always made it a priority to spend time with the people she loved. Above all the challenges Kim faced, she always remained a loving and caring daughter, sister, aunt, mother and MawMaw to her family. Her faith in Jesus greatly impacted her children, grandchildren and anyone she knew. Her legacy is one of faith, strength, and love. Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts she has forever touched.

Kim is survived by her children, Shelby Johnson of Hugo, OK, Taylor Weathers of Hugo, OK, Jesse Weathers and wife, Abigail of Hugo, OK; her mother, Peggy Buchanan ; bonus mother, Janece Rankin; bonus daughter, Allison Reckner and husband, Julih; grandchildren, Jalyn Johnson, Jakya Johnson, Jabreon Johnson, Averee Melton, Lakyn Gross, Addilyn Weathers and Randal Reckner; sisters, Susan Ensey, Sherry Hayt and Kelly Thomas; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
