Kimberly Ann Roberts ObituaryKIMBERLY ANN ROBERTS, 68 of Cardiff, MD, died suddenly on the afternoon of Tuesday, January 28, 2025 in Upper Chesapeake Medical Center, Bel Air, MD. Married on May 14, 1988, she was the beloved wife of Richard Nelson Roberts for 36 years.
Born in Kalispell, MT on March 31, 1956, she is the daughter and one of four children born to Vera (Pearson) Funke of Polson, MT and the late Richard Funke. Kimberly proudly served our country in the United States Army as a medical specialist from December 1976 until November 1983 with a tour in South Korea and then service at Walter Reed Hospital in Bethesda, MD. Following her service, she worked at the Peach Bottom Atomic Plant in Delta, PA, the former Halsey Store in Pylesville, MD and for the Whiteford Pharmacy. She retired in 2017.
Kimberly loved being a homemaker, planting flowers, and watching television, especially soap operas with her favorite being The Bold and The Beautiful. During her mother's illness, she called Montana to check on her numerous times per week. Compassion was a true characteristic of Kimberly, and she just adored caring for her new grandson and all of the recent little ones born into the family. She will be remembered as a loving wife, devoted mother/grandmother, loyal friend and enthusiastic Baltimore Ravens fan.

A viewing will be held on Monday, February 3, 2025 from 6-8 p.m. at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main St., Delta, PA with the funeral service beginning at 11 a.m. on Tuesday.
Family member, Uncle Reverend Richard Roberts will officiate.
Interment will follow in Bel Air Memorial Gardens, Bel Air, MD with military honors presented by the United States Army Honor Guard.
