Kimberly Dawn Roper, 63, of Noble, Oklahoma, gained her wings on July 27, 2024. Kim was born in Huntington Beach, California, on May 1, 1961, to Troy Reece and Nancy (Dickerson) Reece.
Kimberly went to McLoud High School, graduation class of 1979, where she met her first husband, Donnie Roper. They were married for 20 years and had one daughter, Crystal Dawn Roper.
Early childhood education was Kim’s passion during her lifetime, and consequently, she directed seven different childcare facilities. If you knew Kim, she would consider you a friend for life. She had the most forgiving heart, the biggest smile, and a huge love for her OU Sooners. Kim loved being outdoors, going to concerts, and being the life of the party. Later in life, she met Michael Brock, and they enjoyed riding their motorcycle, swinging on the porch swing, and cooking on the grill. Kim‘s house was always home to anyone who was loved by her.
Kimberly was predeceased by her parents, Troy and Nancy Reece; sister, Deborah Ward; brothers, Troy Jr. and Mark Reece.
Kimberly is survived by husband, Michael Brock, of Noble, OK; daughter, Crystal Easley and son-in-law, Robert Billins, of Choctaw, OK; sister, Amy Stone, of Choctaw, OK; granddaughter, Dani Easley, of Choctaw, OK; her fur baby, Peanut, of Noble, OK; eight nieces and nephews who she considered her own; 23 great nieces and nephews, and many more close family members and friends.
Visitation will be Friday, August 2, 2024, noon – 7:00 p.m., at AE Funeral Services Chapel, 603 W. Independence St., Shawnee, Oklahoma 74804
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2024, 11:00 a.m., at AE Funeral Services Chapel. Interment will follow at Dale Cemetery, 36406 Westech Rd., Shawnee, Oklahoma 74804.
