Kirk Olson Obituary

Kirk was born on November 10th 1954 to Aaron and Clementine Olson of Grand Ronde. He grew up and lived out his life in Grand Ronde, where he worked up in the mountains logging until he retired. Kirk met Kathy of McMinnville and they spent several years dating before finally tying the knot on March 23rd 1991. Together they had one daughter. When Kirk was not busy working, he liked to spend his free time going on his yearly hunting trips, fishing and traveling. He loved watching golf, NASCAR and football and going to see any of them in person when he could. After Kirk retired, he spent more time traveling and visiting friends and family out of state. When he was home, he enjoyed working on projects around the house and spending time with his grandchildren.
Kirk is survived by his sisters Judy Bosch and Kellee Olson, daughter Kassy Selby (Adam) and three grandchildren Layla, Lexi and Luke Selby. He was preceded in death by both parents, Aaron and Clementine Olson, wife Kathy Olson, brothers Craig, Barry and Duke Olson, and sister Pat Marcan.
Services will be held at 4 PM on Saturday April 15th at Willamette Valley Community Campus, 266 SE Washington St, Willamina, OR 97396. A potluck reception will follow.
