Born on April 4, 1989, Kirstie lived a life filled with deep love and a wonderfully silly sense of humor. Diagnosed with the rare genetic disorder Sotos Syndrome, she met every day with an extraordinary resilience and a unique, positive perspective. She was a vibrant soul who was happiest at home, and she loved to dance and sing loudly with her family. She especially looked forward to major holidays and enjoyed visiting with neighbors, finding joy in simple, familiar comforts.
Kirstie had a rich inner world shaped by her passions. She held a deep love for beloved characters from Sailor Moon, Sesame Street, and Miraculous Ladybug. Her favorite pastimes included watching NASA 24/7 and listening to the music of Taylor Swift.
Kirstie is lovingly survived by her mother, Brenda Gerig; her older sister, Samantha Reid; and her nephew, Roan Reid."
