Kiya was an extraordinary young woman she had a heart of gold, yet she didn't have a problem telling you how she felt, she always kept it real. Kiya enjoyed fishing, painting, writing poetry and baking. She was amid starting her own baking business names "feisty delights" but most of all Kiya loved spending time with her family. She loved her family especially her mom, her fiancé', and her children. Kiya leaves to cherish fond and loving memories: her mother Ms. Robbin P. Smith and father, Mr. Raymond Charles both of Durham, NC, Fiancé' Mr. Moses Giles Sr. of Durham, NC, two children Nyla Green and Moses Giles Jr. both of Durham, NC, one bonus daughter Kayla Giles of Durham, NC, two brothers Antonio L. Smith and Corie D. Smith both of Durham, NC, and a host of other loving family members including four nieces, one nephew, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Funeral service will be held at Holloway Memorial Funeral Home, 2502 NC Hwy 55, on Tuesday, March 28, 2023; visitation service from 12:00 to 1:00 pm, funeral service at 1:00 pm.

To my beautiful sister, your memory will forever be in my heart and we will always be together in spirit. We will meet again in heaven one day. I will continue to love our father and will make you proud of me. Although we did not share time together here in this world, we will one day be reunited and be sisters, as God has made our love stronger then any bond here on earth. Be in peace my loving sister and wait with God until another day. I love you.
