Krendli "Kasey" Nichols, a beloved daughter, mother, sister, and friend, passed away on November 6, 2025, at the age of 40, at Our Lady Of The Lake Hospital. Born on September 24, 1985, in Birmingham, Alabama, Kasey filled the world with her vibrant personality, adventurous spirit, and a love for life that touched everyone she encountered.
A proud graduate of Belaire High School, Kasey furthered her education by achieving her Masters in Education, a testament to her dedication to learning and personal growth. She spent her career inspiring others, serving as a substitute teacher and contributing her talents to United Health Insurance. Kasey is remembered for her unique sense of style and her innate ability to uplift those around her.
Kasey cherished her role as a mother to her daughter, Kaitlyn Nichols, who was the pride and joy of her life. She found immense fulfillment in nurturing and guiding her, and this bond exemplified her loving nature. As a sister, she was a steadfast presence in the lives of her siblings: Tina (Beritell) Odds, Timothy Leonard, Lynette Nichols, Carla (William) Barney, Thomas (Lisa) Nichols III, and Crendal (Toni) Adamson. Kasey was also a cherished daughter to her mother, Joyce Nichols, and her biological father, Crendly Adamson. Her family extended through numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives, all of whom will carry forward the warmth of her memory.
Kasey's interests included shopping, traveling, and indulging in the vibrant atmosphere of fairs. She had a particular affection for anything adorned with bling, which perfectly encapsulated her sparkling personality. Most importantly, Kasey loved spending time with her family, creating cherished memories that will last a lifetime.
As a member of AKA "Kadillac Kasey," she exemplified her commitment to community and her desire to inspire others to embrace their individuality. Kasey will forever be remembered as an outgoing and adventurous soul who brightened the lives of all who knew her.
Kasey joins her late father, Thomas Nichols Jr., in eternal rest. Her laughter, love, and spirit will remain in the hearts of her family and friends, whose lives she enriched through her kindness and zest for life.
