Krieg Michael Hayes of Logan, Utah passed away suddenly on November 13, 2025. Born on January 11, 1989, in Bountiful, Utah to Bill and Carol Chapple, Krieg will be remembered as a beloved father, son, brother, nephew, and friend.
In 2008, Krieg joined the U.S. Marines and served for four years; having served in Japan and various places within the United States. After his time in the service, Krieg remained in North Carolina where he met Teresa King (Barnes), together they had a son: William Daniel Hayes. Krieg also had a son with Sarah Carson: Kaiden James Carson. Upon his return to Utah, Krieg met Erin Cobb, and they had a beautiful son together: Ethan Jay Hayes.
Krieg loved his sons, his family, and friends. He will be remembered as someone who loved rock and rap music, hunting, fishing, and doing things that gave him an adrenaline rush.
Krieg is preceded in death by his grandparents: Edward and Linda Hayes, Stella Hayes, and Mary Jane Green; and his brother Derrick James Chapple.
He is survived by his children: William Hayes, Kaiden Carson, and Ethan Hayes; his parents: Bill and Carol Chapple; his siblings: Cassandra Hayes, Kody Tuttle, and Breann (Jonny) Hartman; and his many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Krieg was adored by his children, parents, siblings, aunts, uncles, and friends. He will be missed forever by all who loved and knew him.

A small casual gathering will be held on Friday, November 21, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Clinton Cemetery located at 813 North 750 West, Clinton, Utah.
