Kris is survived by her loving husband, Mike Dowler; sons, Eric, Ryan, Adam and Noah Dowler; brother, Donnie (Mary) Conklin; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Mary Conklin and her brother Mike Conklin.
Kris touched many lives throughout the community, as a preschool teacher and administrator for 30 years, as an Oswego East High School sports booster, as a school nurse secretary and as an avid fan of everything her four boys ever did. She had an outgoing personality, an infectious laugh and smile, a genuine care for people and a pure heart. She was a great friend to so many people. And through good times and bad, she was the rock of her family. She will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Homes & Crematory, 24021 Royal Worlington Drive, Naperville, Illinois. Interment private.

My heart is deeply saddened to hear of Kris's passing. I remember her as a smiling gal with a passion for sports. Mike, you and the boys will be in my prayers as you walk through this deep valley. I pray the Lord walks beside you to ease your burden. I send my love. Connie Basham
