Krishon Chante Lewis

Krishon Chante "Lula" Lewis also known as "Kween" a lifelong resident of New Orleans La, recently residing in Houston, TX entered into eternal rest unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 15, 2025.
Krishon was born on November 18, 1992 to Denice Lewis and Ralph Lagrue of New Orleans, La.
Her education was fostered in the New Orleans Parish School System. She went on to further her education at Coastal Driving School, where she obtained her CDL driver's license. She gave her life to God at an early age. She was member of Pentecost Baptist Church. Her favorite hymn was "I know it was the blood for me"
Krishon was a sweet and loving spirit to all who knew her. She had a smile that would brighten up a room. She was the backbone to the family. Always worked behind the scenes as the planner. She was the family DJ, and thought her music was better than everyone else's. She always got the card game started. Her favorite line was "where y'all quarters at?"
She was a huge Saints fan, win or lose, she was glued in front of the TV each week.
She was an employee of Gaubert Oil, Waste Management Services, United Rentals Co., & Total Safety.
Krishon and Krishell became entrepreneurs in 2019, starting K & K Cleaning Services. In 2022 they formed Denice the Angel Trucking LLC.
Krishon leaves to cherish her memories; her loving Godchildren Eila Mitchell & Maki Bargky. Siblings, Christian, Krishell, Tyricka, Aaronisha Lewis, Lauren Lewis-Brumfield (Leonard), Racheal and Joy Lagrue, her father Ralph Lagrue, her aunt Joannette Lewis- Robertson (Keith), her God brother Tahj Lewis and her God sisters, Caterra Jefferson and Joyce Hall; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends who will all miss her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Denice Lewis, uncle, Nathaniel Lewis, Grandmother Alona Lewis-Mason, great grandmother, Juanita Dyer, grandfather, Walter Clark, and her best friend Ronnie Robinson.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Funeral Service honoring the life of Ms. Krishon Lew is at D.W. Rhodes Funeral Home, 3933 Washington Ave., New Orleans, La on Saturday, July 26, 2025 at 10:00am. Visitation will begin at 9:00am until 10:00am. Internment: Private. Arrangements entrusted to D.W.
