Kristin leaves behind her father, Willie Beard of Clarkton; mother, Devona Wooten and husband Kent of Newton Grove; grandmother, Nancy Hardee of Elizabethtown; daughters: Kaylee Victoria Uff and Bryanna Hardee Uff, both of the home; sisters: Amanda Fonvielle and husband John of Hampstead, Bridget Huffman and husband Ryan of Richlands; niece, Elizabeth Fonvielle; nephews: Wyatt Kirk, Nathan Fonvielle; several uncles, aunts and cousins.
Kristin graduated from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in 2001 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies. She moved to Florida in 2006 and started her family. She enjoyed boating, fishing, wakeboarding, golfing, jogging, biking, and horseback riding. She also volunteered with Relay for Life.
“Kristin was a bright light in our family…funny, free spirited, always ready for an adventure and never afraid to walk to the beat of a different drummer. She made us laugh, kept us on our toes, challenged us and encouraged us. Her preschool teacher once said that if Kristin could get close enough to anything, then she would climb it! This was a good description of our Kristin. No matter the opportunity, obstacle, or challenge, she plunged right in and “climbed” it! Life was fun when Kristin was around. Kristin always had something nice to say, loved with all her heart and will forever be missed! I pray she and Papa are enjoying a wonderful reunion in heaven!” -Aunt Teresa Hardee-
The family will receive friends from 1-2:45pm on Wednesday, June 26th at White’s Creek Baptist Church followed by a celebration of life service at 3pm. Burial will conclude services in the church cemetery. Pastor Kincy Barrow will officiate these services.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the ALS Foundation 1300 Wilson Blvd Suite 600 Arlington, VA 22209 in memory of her Papa.
