Obituary published on Legacy.com by McCoy-Blossom Funeral Homes & Crematory - Troy on Jan. 30, 2024.
In loving memory of Kristin Parshay (nee Babbitt), who peacefully passed away on January 28, 2024, in
Bedford, New Hampshire, after a courageous seven-month battle with cancer. She faced cancer much like she approached life, with fire and determination. Kristin, a devoted wife of 20 years to Mr. Jimi Parshay, was a loving mother to her three children, Maya (20), Tyler (15), and Jacob (15 +1 minute). Born and raised in
St. Charles, Missouri, she was a 1998 graduate of St. Charles West High School. She subsequently graduated from Alma College, Alma Michigan in 2003, where she met her future husband. Kristin, a world-class financial architect, dedicated her last nine years of her professional journey to Merchants Fleet in
Bedford, New Hampshire. Her remarkable leadership and vision came to life as she created and led a team of dedicated professionals, turning dreams into reality. While her passion for building and creating in the business world was second to none, her love of her family is how she will ultimately be remembered. Through countless gymnastics practices, meets, football games, and track competitions she was always there for her children. She supported and loved the adventure of something new and channeled that energy and positive outlook to encourage new beginnings and opportunities for her whole family. There was nothing more important to her than to bring a smile to her children's faces. Kristin was a high-energy personality who brought life into every room she entered. Her vibrant presence was captivating, intoxicating, and inspiring. She was everyone's friend and everyone's confidant. Her ability to connect with people on a personal level left an enduring mark, creating a network of friendships that spanned across both personal and professional spheres near and far.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Mr.Jimi Parshay, and their three children: Maya, Tyler, and Jacob. Kristin was preceded in death by her mother, Susan Babbitt (nee Blossom). She is also survived by her father, Donna Babbitt, her grandmother, Dolores Babbitt and brother Sean (Margaret) Babbitt; aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Her strength, resilience, and unwavering love will forever remain an inspiration to those who were fortunate to know her. May her soul rest in eternal peace, and may her family find solace in the cherished memories they shared with her.
