Kristopher Karuba Obituary
Kris graduated from McDowell High School and attended Penn State Behrend concentrating in mechanical engineering. He worked as a multi-certified auto body technician at several auto body shops in Venice, Florida and was currently employed at Amthor Steel in Erie. He loved restoring antique cars and was an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns and the Tampa Bay Lightning. He was talented in home restoration and any and all mechanical things.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his beloved sister, Marthta Karuba-Miller.
Survivors include his forever loving friend and former spouse Lisa Nick-Karuba, sisters, Audrey Karuba-Cooley (Jerry) of Erie, Peggy (Karuba) Sienecki of Erie; his brother, Peter Karuba of Indiana and sister Katrina Henry (John) of Harborcreek; many nieces and nephews, especially Adam Sienecki; and his constant loving dog "lil man" Zeke. He is also survived by his close friends Darren Friend and Todd Dunn of Erie and Josh Wilde of Florida who will always be thanked endlessly for their caring and their love of Kris.
Funeral services and burial were private and at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers please consider donations to the Anna Shelter 1555 E 10th St, Erie, PA 16503.
Funeral arrangements were made by the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd., Erie, 16504.
