Kurt V. Budea, age 76 of Mansfield, passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at Lexington Court Care Center. He was born on December 30, 1947, in Wheeling, West Virginia, to the late George and Anna (Stankevich) Budea.
Kurt graduated from Mansfield Senior in 1965, and he went on to attend Austin Peay University. He worked a variety of jobs throughout his life, including Westinghouse, AMF, and many restaurants. His passions included the Cleveland Browns and his beloved cats.
He is survived by his siblings Karen Schuster, Doreen Budea, and Derek (Dina) Budea, as well as his niece Destiny Holt.
He was preceded in death by his parents George and Anna Budea and his brother-in-law Ernst Schuster.
No services will be observed at this time.
Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, ltd, 1106 Park Avenue East, Mansfield, is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Kurt (and his cat) lived with me a little while when he attended Austin Peay in Clarksville, TN. He was a true friend. An original hippie. He hated Nixon and loved Dylan. RIP old friend.
