I was so shocked and saddened to hear of Kurt´s passing. We worked together for many years and I always valued his friendship and his guidance. We would occasionally go out for a few beers after a long day at an industry show and he loved to talk about his family and loved them so much. He was a great guy and I am sure a wonderful husband and father. My heartfelt condolences go out to Kelly and all the children.

Dear Kelly and Family,
My thoughts and prayers go out to you during these difficult times. Since meeting Kurt in 1978 I came to know him as one of the most outstanding individuals I´ve ever met. He filled the room with humor and laughter, and he was always there to help anyone, or anything, with whatever was needed. He set a huge example for us all to follow and will be greatly missed.

Kelly, Sue and family - I know God is holding all of you in the palm of His hand! I used to babysit Kurt and Sue on Vassar Lane! We had such a great time growing up in Des Plaines! My brother, Bill was a good friend of Kurt's until Bill's passing in 2005. Kurt was part of Bill and Linda's bridal party and I was fortunate to stay in contact with Kurt through social media! So many wonderful memories and I know he is at peace! Our Dad's and Bill and Kurt are reminiscing about their fishing trips, and all the ones that got away! My love to all of you! God Bless!

Kelly and family, I was saddened to hear of Kurt's passing I'm sure you have some very nice memories of Kurt as I do, I feel so fortunate to be able to call Kurt my Brother. The great times we had at the Pike House, his hospitality at the lake house on Lake Geneva and the Pike get togethers in NYC are times I'll never forget.
