Kurt W. Wilke – Died peacefully on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at the age of 72.
Devoted husband of Barb for 38 years. Loving DA of fur babies, Gracie and Scruff. Brother-in-law of Linda (Ron) Freedy, Judy (Pat) Lavin, Sharron (Darrell) Chapman, Howie (Victoria) Kueker and Nancy (the late LeRoy) Bunch. Loving uncle of Marty (Nikki) Ring, Marley (Mark) Braker, the late Micheal (Jessica) Freedy, Stacie (Justin) Seipel, Brandy (Jay) Schuttler, Becky (Jerry) Eady, Tim (Aly) Kueker, Brett Kueker, BJ (Lori Beth) Bunch, Tracy Bunch and Sean (Jessica) Bunch. Further survived by 19 great nieces, great nephews, other family members and friends.
Preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Alice Wilke and his sister, Marsha Wilke.
Kurt worked at AO Smith-Tower Automotive for 30+ years. He was in St. Pat's Drum Corp., from 1969-1972 and then also a charter member of Pioneer Drum Corp. in 1974.
Visitation will be held at Krause Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue, New Berlin, Wisconsin, on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, 10:00 AM – 11:15 AM. Funeral Service at 11:30 AM. Entombment will be held privately at St. Adalbert Cemetery.
Kurt was a huge sports fan, especially The Green Bay Packers, so Kurt's wish was for everyone to please wear Green Bay Packer attire.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to Pioneer Drum Corp.

Barb, I just remember Kurt as being the cool dude at our Christmas parties, during our Home Care Medical days. There's a photo of him standing up against the wall smoking a cigarette. So cool! He was also so kind and easy to talk with. Such a nice guy.
