Obituary published on Legacy.com by Danks-Hinski Funeral Home on Dec. 21, 2023.
Kyle Marcus Maddox was born in Washington Township on February 25, 1981 to the late Kenneth Maurice Maddox and Janice Valerie Maddox. He was born into a family of love and was adored by all that knew him. He truly was a lovable person. A mother's joy and father's pride. Janice says and I quote: "That's my baby boy. He had a full head of thick curly hair. An appetite like Kendall and energy like Kaden. Kyle was my cuddle bug. He loved us so much and took such good care of us."
Kyle was raised in
West Berlin, New Jersey along with his sister Robin. He graduated in 1999 from Camden County Technical High School and was employed by National Freight. On June 28, 1997 he was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. Having lost his father at a young age, he held really close to him the hope found in Acts 24:15 "that there is going to be a resurrection". He longed to be with his father again.
Kyle was a loving husband and father. He met the love of his life, Kimberly Ann Zagarra through mutual friends and married on December 30, 2009. Kim adoringly said "I loved his smile, that was what first drew me to him". Together they welcomed two beautiful boys, Kendall Matthew and Kaden Michael completing their beautiful family of four. Kyle's love for his family was so evident. Kim lovingly remembers how he was the calm to her storm saying "He just brought balance to our marriage. I loved his calmness. We traveled so much. It was always an adventure with him, traveling together and enjoying the best food." He loved spending time with his boys enjoying nature and rough housing. He was truly a family man. His patience, dependability, protectiveness and tender loving affection will be sorely missed.
With life comes ups and downs and Kyle was there for ups and downs, sickness and health, good times and uncertainty, joy and sadness. Kyle always showed up for his family and friends, whatever it took, he was there. Once you met Kyle he left an impression. Some of his friends describe him as "the definition of hospitable". "An extremely generous soul with the ability to make people feel immediately comfortable around him. He had the ability to transport you into a memory with his storytelling techniques. His excitement when sharing a new interest or hobby was easily contagious." "Loyal, generous, honest, loving, friendly, and someone you can trust that will always come through despite whatever circumstances. A true friend."
His untimely and unexpected death has left his family and friends heartbroken. Kyle is resting. Jehovah promises at Rev 21:4 that the dead will be resurrected. We long to be with our beloved Kyle again soon.
Left behind to cherish his memories are: his wife, Kim, and their two sons, Kendall and Kaden; his mother, Janice; sisters Robin and Letty (Lindsey) Maxwell. His nieces and nephews whom he loved as his own: El, Teyonna (daughter Amiyah); Tamia (daughter Azra); Kendra (daughter Auriella); Howard and Kenneth and a host of other relatives, friends and a beautiful spiritual family. Kyle left a lasting impact that will truly be missed.
