William Mitchell Jr

William Mitchell, Jr, 83, of Cape May, NJ formerly of Lindenwold, passed away on August 14, 2025. Beloved son of the late Francis (nee Heppard) and William Mitchell, Sr. Devoted husband of Adrian Mitchell (nee Madden). Loving father of Keith Mitchell, Sr., Lisa Mitchell-Maccarella (Joseph) and William Mitchell, III. Cherished grandfather of Keith Mitchell, Jr., Brittany Mitchell, Amanda Mitchell, Catherine Adams, Nicholas Maccarella and Connor Mitchell and great grandfather of Sophia Paciocco, Layla and Vivianne Kane, Jax Mitchell, Ava and Mia.

William was a dedicated member of the Lindenwold Moose Lodge, Coach for Lindenwold Youth Baseball, Lindenwold Cowboys, Midget Football and Laurel Springs youth wrestling. In his free time, he enjoyed gardening, bird watching and walking the beach looking for fossils. Most importantly, he loved spending time with his grandchildren and was the Best Pop Pop in the world!

Services will take place privately. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of William to Samaritan's Gift Processing Center, P.O. Box 71425, Philadelphia, PA 19176. Arrangements under the direction of the DANKS-HINSKI FUNERAL HOME, Lindenwold, NJ.
