Kyle W. Mortensen

Kyle W. Mortensen, 57, of Temperance, Michigan, passed away, Saturday, December 6, 2025. Kyle was born on August 21, 1968, in Monroe, Michigan, and was the son of Erik and Marilyn (Monroe) Mortensen. Kyle was a graduate of Bedford High School. Originally, his goal was to work on motorcycles, earning a Harley Davidson Mechanic Certification. He went on to work in the building trades and most recently was a general contractor for the Berman Building Company. Kyle grew up riding motorcycles with his family. He learned all his construction and building knowledge from his dad. Kyle was a gun enthusiast, loved fantasy football, and taking his 1956 Chevy to the local car shows.
He is survived by his loving mother, Marilyn; sister, Terri (Ford) Brandon; nieces, Bond and Emory, and great niece, Bristol. Kyle was preceded in death by his father.
A gathering will be held from 4-8 pm, Saturday, December 20, 2025, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI
