Kyle Matthew Viera, 19 years of age, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, April 25, 2024 at his residence. Kyle was born in Alice, Texas on April 28, 2004 to his parents, Denise Vela and Michael Viera. A 2022 graduate from Benavides high School where he also participated in extracurricular activities. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for Brooke Paving and Construction LLC. Kyle enjoyed gaming, fishing and spending time with his beloved family and best friend, Aiden Salinas. He was a loving son, grandson, brother, nephew, uncle and cousin who will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by grandfather, Crispin Cabrera; maternal great grandparents, Woodrow and Patsy McVay; paternal great grandparents, Emma and Luis Viera.
Kyle is survived by his mother, Denise (Willie) Vela of Freer, Texas; his father, Michael (Priscilla) Viera of Kingsville, Texas; three brothers, Daniel (Monica) Viera of Freer, Texas; Damian (Anissa) Viera of Corpus Christi, Texas; Mikie (Leana) Viera of Freer,, Texas; two sisters, Sierra (Brian) Trevino of Corpus Christi, Texas; Sadie Viera of Benavides, Texas; his maternal grandparents, Lee and Daisy McVay of Benavides, Texas; paternal grandparents, Adrian Viera and Lydia Cavazos; aunts and uncles, Kathleen and Nicholas Vela; Heather Saenz; Adrian and Adelaida Viera; Mark Viera, Juventino and Irene Sanchez; nieces and nephews, Johathan Viera, Elijah Viera, Amando Trevino, Elena Viera; cousins, Nicholas, Adalyn, Ariana Vela and Haylee Garcia; step-siblings Payton and Derek Vela, Bryan Rodriguez, John Paul jr. and Kayla Gonzales, numerous aunts, uncles. and cousins.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, May 3, 2024, at Garza Funeral Home in San Diego, Texas with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. that evening. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at Garza Funeral Home Chapel in San Diego, Texas. Interment will follow at Benavides Cemetery in Benavides, Texas.
