Kyle Ray Williams

With profound sorrow and broken hearts, we share the passing of Kyle Williams, age 14, who tragically lost his life in a drowning accident on Lake Michigan on July 22, 2025.

Kyle's life was so much more than the tragic moment that took him from this world. He was a bright, curious, and loving soul whose smile could light up a room and whose laughter was contagious to all who heard it. His joyful spirit and gentle heart will be deeply missed and forever cherished.

Kyle had a passion for all things imaginative and adventurous. He loved exploring the worlds of Red Dead Redemption 2, Cyberpunk, Star Wars, and his lifelong fascination with dinosaurs. He grew up building worlds in Minecraft, often creating alongside his siblings and finding joy in their special creations-like the beloved "Oreo soup," a sweet memory of his younger years.

Kyle is survived by his loving parents, Weylin Williams and Cynthia Simon; his siblings, Tyler, Peyton, Brianna (and her fiance Wyatt and their son Archer), Eli, and Isabella; his grandparents Randy and Linda Williams, Simon Kouboi and Grace Bingku. Each shared a deep bond with Kyle, one built on laughter, inside jokes, gaming sessions, and endless love. He was a beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, grandson and friend-gone far too soon, but never forgotten. He will be deeply missed by cherished loved ones, with grieving families extending as far as Malaysia, all mourning his untimely passing.

Kyle's memory will live on in every game played, every stargazing moment, every dinosaur roar, and in the countless hearts who were lucky enough to know and love him.

A private memorial will be held by the family to honor Kyle's life. In lieu of flowers, the family invites friends and loved ones to support them during this time through the shared gift of memories, and continued love.
