L. Arnett Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Noffze Funeral Home - Alexandria on Mar. 1, 2026.
ALEXANDRIA, IN – L.C. Arnett, 83, met his Lord and Savior face to face on Saturday, February 28, 2026, from his residence following an extended illness.

He was born on July 11,1942, in Salyersville, Kentucky to Elliott and Ruth (Dykes) Arnett and has lived in Alexandria for the past 61 years. He was a graduate of Salyersville High School-Class of 1962. L.C. worked in shipping and receiving at Guide-Lamp in Anderson, retiring in 1996 after 32 years of service. He was a 52-year member of the Alexandria Eagles-Aerie #1771. On November 30, 1968, L.C. married the love his life, Peggy Ryan and they shared 57 years of life and love together. L.C. was a skilled handyman and knew a little bit about a lot of things. He enjoyed camping with his wife and family. His favorite past time however was tinkering and puttering in his barn. He made much laughter wherever he went. L.C. had a kind and giving heart that he openly shared with all he crossed paths with. Next to his wife, L.C. loved his daughter and his grandchildren with all his heart. We are comforted by the thought that he his finally at peace and free from the burdens and cares of this world…until we meet again beloved L.C.
