SUMMITVILLE, IN – Michael D. "Mike" Glass, 79, entered peace and rest from his residence on Thursday, February 12, 2026, following a brief illness.

Mike was born in Elwood on December 6, 1946, and he was a graduate of Summitville High School-Class of 1965. He served his country in the United States Army during the Viet Nam war and was honorably discharged in 1968. He worked as a counter salesman for May Supply in Anderson for 44 years, retiring in 2015. He was a member of the Alexandria Eagles Lodge #1771. Mike enjoyed shuffleboard, bike riding and horse racing. Mike was a tinkerer and he always had a "project" in hand and the next "project" in mind. His most enjoyable pastime was the times that he spent with family at home in his garage or sitting with them in the sunshine and with his friends at the Alexandria Eagles.
