Lacey Dawn Lee, born on October 18, 1987, in Lubbock, Texas, to Gregory & Linda Lee, was a vibrant and joyous spirit whose light shone brightly in the lives of everyone she encountered. Tragically, Lacey passed away much too soon on April 13, 2025, in her beloved hometown of Lubbock, leaving behind cherished memories and a profound impact that will forever echo in the hearts of her loved ones.

Lacey was known as a dedicated mom who devoted herself to caring for her son, Rance Lee. Her nurturing spirit and love for her family were evident in everything she did. Besides her role at home, Lacey made significant contributions to her community as a member of Urban Search & Rescue in Albuquerque and was involved in Hazmat Meth Cleanup in Lubbock. Her courage and commitment to helping others exemplified her character and the legacy she leaves behind.

Beyond her professional achievements, Lacey enjoyed a rich tapestry of hobbies and interests. She found joy in shopping and spending time with friends, where her lively personality shone brightest. Known for her sense of humor, Lacey loved to watch scary movies and had a playful penchant for pranks, often leaving friends and sisters giggling uncontrollably. Whether she was joking or creating moments of laughter, her vivacity was contagious, drawing people close to her uplifting energy.

Lacey is survived by her beloved son, Rance Lee, who will carry forward his mother’s warmth and joy. She is also survived by her caring mother, Linda Lee, who showed Lacey love and support throughout her life. Lacey is remembered by her three sisters and their husbands, Kelly & Tim Griffin of Azle, Kimberly Meixner of McKinney, and Krissy & Monty Ward of Allen, all of whom shared countless moments of laughter and sisterly love with her. She is also survived by her grandmother, Peggy Lee, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and best friends, each of whom will remember her spirit fondly.

Lacey was preceded in death by her father, Gregory Lee, whose memory will forever be intertwined with hers. She is also reunited in spirit with her maternal grandparents, Ruth and Ralph Cain, and her paternal grandfather, Jerry Lee. Their love and guidance undoubtedly shaped the remarkable person Lacey became.

A memorial service to honor Lacey’s life will be held on April 19, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Broadway Funeral Directors, located at 1901 Broadway in Lubbock, Texas. The family invites all who knew Lacey to gather as they celebrate the beautiful life she lived and the indelible mark she left on us all.
