LaDonna Marie Gottwald, affectionately known as Donnie, or Annie by her grandkids, passed away on May 14, 2025, at the age of 92.
Donnie enjoyed going out to eat, tending her flower gardens, and exploring the Minnesota State Fair, where she enjoyed entering her hooked rugs and was proud of the ribbons she won. She had a fondness for holiday gatherings, especially Christmas.
Family was at the center of Donnie's life. She supported her grandchildren by attending various events and celebrating their achievements. Her memory continues through her beloved family, which includes her daughters Susan and Cathy (Al), grandchildren Luke, Angela (Mitch), and Kirk (Jaqui), as well as her great-grandchildren Graham, Lydia, Colin, and Harris.
LaDonna was preceded in death by her husband Vern; they had been married for 70 years and raised their family in Fridley.
She will be missed by her family and friends.
