Ladonna Kay Irwin

February 5, 1958 – August 23, 2025

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Ladonna Kay Irwin, who left us peacefully on August 23, 2025, at the age of 67. Ladonna's life was defined by her boundless love for her family, her quiet strength, and her unwavering devotion to those she cared for.

Ladonna's greatest joy came from her family, and she was the heart and soul that kept them all connected. Known as the "quilt of the family," she was a constant source of love, support, and guidance. A devoted mother of seven, she always put her children's needs before her own, while simultaneously caring for extended family and loved ones. Her home was a refuge, and her spirit a guiding force for all who came through her door.

Though often quiet and collected, Ladonna was known for her feisty personality and stubborn streak. She had a unique way of letting everyone know that, "If Nana ain't happy, nobody's happy." Her love for her family, though sometimes unspoken, was felt by all. Ladonna also had a deep affection for animals, and her two beloved dogs, Zander and Corkie the Yorkie, were by her side through thick and thin.

Ladonna was a woman who appreciated life's simple pleasures. She found joy in playing bingo, shopping for treasures at garage sales and thrift stores, and collecting crosses. Her gratitude for life was evident in everything she did, and she was always quick to show her thankfulness for each blessing, big or small.

A woman of strong pride and even stronger will, Ladonna was fiercely independent and often had a hard time accepting help. But her family knew that, when it mattered most, she would do anything for them, just as they would for her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Betty Clifton.

Ladonna is survived by her life partner, Rondell Lynch; her seven children: Daniel, Christopher, Michael, Veronica, Carrie, Elizabeth, and Mark; her sister, Rosy; her brother, David; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a host of extended family and friends. She is also survived by her loyal dogs, Zander and Corkie.

The family asks that donations be made directly to the funeral home in her memory.
