Our dear mother LaDonna Weinand sadly passed away peacefully on May 8, 2024, at the age of 71, in Coon Rapids. She was born in Ortonville, MN on June 26, 1952. LaDonna was an exemplary mother figure and human being. She embodied the best of qualities: unconditional love, strength, and an unending generosity that could be seen in her care for her husband, family, and friends. She devoted herself to be the best mother possible, who was always there whenever we needed her. She loved to cook, garden, and spend time with her family and friends. She was a true Vikings fan, and in her early years loved to camp. She made every holiday special. She impacted many lives, especially as the head cook for Ascension Catholic School. She is preceded in death by parents, Donna Fay (Tilbury) and Forrest D. Reichert; loving husband Norman G. Weinand. She is lovingly survived by children, Carrie (John) Stenslie, Kevin Rathman, Erika (Daniel) Gonzalez; stepson Christopher Weinand; 5 siblings Craig, Debbie, Lonnie, Jodi, and Michelle; pug child Snooky; and many wonderful grandchildren Reanna, Little Kevin, Karena, Carlee, Karissa, Samantha, Joey, Kyle, Andres, Jack, Ahnaka, and Alana; 11 great grandchildren, family and friends. "We will always carry your memories in our hearts."
