Lana attended Garden City Public schools in Garden City, Ks. Where she graduated from the class of 1970 and attended Liberal Vo Tech in Liberal, Ks.
Lana worked at Oswalt, school district, Finney County, and later Walmart as a cashier for 25 years.
Lana was a member of the Finney County 4H club (Beacon Boosters), attended the Methodist Church, she was also a member of the Finney County Kennel Club.
Lana was preceded in death by her parents Art and Marjorie Brinkmeyer and brother-in law Tim Howard.
Lana is survived by her brother Jim (Brenda) Grand Junction, Co., sister Cora Howard, Sun City, Az., brother Bob (Raylene) North Platte, Ne., sister Carol (Pat) Blackford, Georgetown, Tx., and nieces and nephews.
Graveside services for family and friends will be held at 10:30 am Friday June 6, 2025 at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Garden City, Kansas with Pastor Greg Fletcher officiating.
