LANCE ALLEN Obituary

Lance K. Allen, 69, of Wellsboro, passed away on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at The Green Home in Wellsboro. He was born on October 28, 1955, in Wellsboro, a son of Arvine and Jeannette (Sweeley) Allen. Lance was married to the late Sherry Allen who passed away on May 23, 2017. He worked at TOPS and enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson and ATVs.
Lance is survived by his son, Timothy (Samantha) Allen of Newton, NJ; a daughter, Jessica (Jack) Witmer of Wellsboro; seven grandchildren, Karinthia, Karter, Lillianna, Brycen, Hailey, Brooke, and Addison; a brother, Dale (Sandy) Allen of Wellsboro; a sister, Kaye Dodge of Arizona; a brother-in-law, Lewis Sticklin of Wellsboro; a sister-in-law, Patricia Allen of Wellsboro and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; a brother, Blaine Allen; a sister, Sallie Sticklin and a brother-in-law, Kurt Dodge.
Friends and family are invited to call on Wednesday, August 27, from 5-7 p.m. at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S. Main St., Mansfield. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to a charity of one's choice. www.buckheitfcandcrematory.com
