Lance Elkins Obituary

Lance was born on January 2, 1972, in Morgan City, Louisiana. His deep affection for his family was evident in everything he did. His sons, Mason and LC Elkins, were his greatest joy, and he cherished every moment spent with them.
Lance was an avid sportsman, particularly fond of playing golf. When he wasn't on the course, you could find him cheering on his beloved LSU Tigers or rocking out to Pearl Jam.
Lance is survived by his sons, Mason and LC Elkins; his mother, Diane Elkins; his sisters, Skye Elkins Mitchell, Trish Morrison, Lori Wadleigh, Robyn Streeks, and Courtney Sinclair. He was preceded in death by his father, Gary Elkins, and his sister, Jennifer Rinow.
Those who knew Lance will remember his vibrant spirit, his unwavering love for his family, and his zest for life.
A Memorial Service will be held at Washington Park United Methodist Church, Friday, May 17, 2024 at 2:00pm. For directions to the church please click the "Events" tab above the obituary. A Livestream link is available for those unable to attend in person. This link can be found below the obituary.

Well I actually met Lance for the first time we were playing on opposite teams co-ed softball. Just like all the males on the co-ed teams they would come in very close when us females came up for bat. Needless to say I hit the ball over his head quite a distance. Lance never forgot that and he never came in close again when I was up to bat. Love this guy and Elkins family. Forever North Ken Caryl' Neighbors
