He was born on July 19, 1950, in Watertown, SD to Marvin Arthur and Elsena Martha (Valentine) Lunde.
Lance grew up and went to school in Watertown through the 12th grade. He then attended Augustana College after high school.
Lance had a career working in the collections department with First Premier Bankcard.
In his spare time, Lance found joy in the great outdoors, hunting and fishing. He also had a hobby in woodworking that he thoroughly enjoyed.
Lance will be dearly missed by his children, Christopher (Maribel) Lunde, Pierre, SD, Gretchen (Gene) Brandenburger, Watertown, SD; his siblings, Brady (Patty) Lunde, Blair (Val) Lunde, Lana Lunde and Monty Lunde, all of Watertown, SD; seven grandchildren, Casey (Garret) Swearingen, Tina Arends, Christian (Kinsey) Brandenburger, Lane Brandenburger, Markjay Gutierrez, Houston Lunde and Caden Lunde; along with three great grandchildren, Tamika, Austin and Ridley; his special friend, Cindy Beving; and many nieces and nephews.
Lance is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and brothers, Lonnie Lunde and Lowell Lunde.
