Lance A. Weston

Lance A. Weston, 67, passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 in Jacksonville, Florida. He was born on July 26, 1958 and son of the late James Thomas Weston, Jr. and Paulette Woolard Weston. Following high school graduation, Lance enlisted in the US Army and received the rank of SP4 on April 15, 1983. He enlisted in the US Air Force until July 24, 1994. Lance joined the Florida Air National Guard until February 28, 1997 and received the rank of Staff Sergeant. He rejoined the US Air Force and retired on January 15, 2009 with the rank of Technical Sergeant.

Preceded in death by his parents, suriving family include a son, Dusty J. Weston; 2 brothers, Mark Weston and Bryce McDonald; nephew Cody Weston and a host of extended family and friends.

Shelter service with Military Honors will be held at 2:30 PM on Thursday, January 15, 2026 at Jacksonville National Cemetery. Please gather in processional lane # 2.
