Laney Salter Obituary
Laney worked at several Subway restaurants in Carteret County and at the original Spouter Inn in Beaufort.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at Bridgeway Church of Beaufort with Pastor Jack Mumford officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 to 12:00 Tuesday at the church. A private burial will take place at Oscar Davis Cemetery in Davis.
She is survived by her mother, Tina Salter and father, Sean Harvey of Williston; aunt, Elaina Wilde of Gloucester; aunt, Lisa Fulcher and fiancé, Mark Buffaloe of Davis; special aunt, Jessica Winchester and husband, Ray of Davis; great uncles and aunts, Jeff and Edith Styron of Beaufort; Clifton Styron of Davis; Debbie Dudley of Davis; maternal grandfather, Jimmy M. Salter of Beaufort; paternal grandparents, Nicky and Sue Harvey of Davis; two half-sisters, Samantha and Sunshine; nieces and nephews, many cousins, and many special friends.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Susan Warren; step maternal grandmother, Kay Salter; paternal grandmother, Annette Harvey; maternal great grandparents, Celestine and George Salter; maternal great grandparents, Violet Lane and Clifton Styron; special uncle and aunt, Dennis Harvey and Valerie Piner; uncle, Stuart Wilde.
