Wilmont Lanier "Bo" Delk

Wilmont Lanier “Bo” Delk passed on December 22, 2025. He was 94 years old. He was born on September 4, 1931, in Barnwell, South Carolina, to Furman W. Delk and Mildred Bonds Delk. He graduated from Brookland-Cayce High School in 1949. He married Barbara Hulon in 1951 and was married for over 65 years. Bo worked for Sunbeam Bread for 33 years. Bo loved to hunt and fish and work puzzles, and he loved his four-legged pets. Most of all he loved his family.

Survivors include his daughters, Paula D. Meetze (Bruce) and Cathy D. Gulley, and his sons Monty Delk and Russell E. Delk. He is also survived by his sister, Wanda D. Phillips (David). Bo leaves thirteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Monday, December 29, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Moseley Funeral Home in West Columbia. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at Double Ponds Baptist Church in Blackville, SC.
