Larrie L. Wright 82, passed away on March 31, 2024 at San Juan Regional Medical Center after a long stay at Welbrook in Farmington, NM.
Larrie was born July 25, 1941 in Farmington. He was a longtime resident of Davonport, Iowa and Flora Vista, NM. Calling himself a “Moving Engineer,” for many years Larrie worked as a truck driver for Allied Van Lines, and he retired from TNT Holland Motor Freight. He also was employed by Farmington Schools as an Activity School bus driver.
Larrie was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and the National Rifle Association. He was a big Chicago Bears and Cubs fan.
Larrie was preceded in death by his parents: John Jeffie Wright and Laurena Lea (Tucker) Wright and brothers, Stanley Lee Wright and John Allen Wright.
He is survived by his wife, Linda K. Wright; son Jeffery Allen Wright; daughter Michele Lyn Wright (Tom) Bradbury; grandchildren Arlissa Kay Bradbury and Sean Thomas Bradbury; sister Linda Lou Griffee (Bob) and family dog Cooper.
Larrie was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to all he met. He will be greatly missed.
Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at 10:00 am at Memory Gardens, 6917 E. Main, Farmington, NM. with Reverend Linda Broom Stetter officiating.
A Memorial Service is planned on his birthday.
Larrie is in the care of Brewer Lee & Larkin Funeral Home, 103 E. Ute Street Farmington, NM.
