Larry worked as a journeyman doing sheet metal and was a true tradesmen. He loved working with his hands and building houses and seeing his creativity come to life. It was always a good day when he could settle in and watch a good John Wayne movie. Larry never missed watching a Chiefs game and used to like the Rams, until they moved their team West. Larry was always home to watch the 5 o'clock news and was thoroughly proud of his President, Trump. He was a proud member of the New Life Fellowship Church in Richland.
Larry is survived by Wife, Melba Bemboom; daughters, Lisa Anderson (Steve), Lea Bemboom and Leann Bemboom; sons, Larry Bemboom Jr. and Matthew Bemboom (Heather); sisters, Kathy Schorer (John) and Mary Ellen Benne (Donnie); brother, Andy Bemboom (Becky); grandchildren, Hilda Gordon (Devin), Hannah Meyers (Charles) and Heather Holstein; great grandchildren, Joel Gordon, Jaxon Gordon, Sophia Gordon, Brooklynn Meyers, Sawyer Dean Meyers, Xavier Bemboom, and Raiden Bemboom. Larry was preceded by his parents, brothers, Harry Bemboom, David Bemboom, and sister Shirley Huntinger.
Friends will be received from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at New Life Fellowship in Richland - 111 E. Washington Ave, Richland, Missouri 65556.
Celebration of Life will be held at 12:00 pm, Saturday, May 24, 2025 at New Life Fellowship in Richland - 111 E. Washington Ave, Richland, MO 65556 with J. Hedrick officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Hedges-Scott-Millard Funeral Homes, 1270 S Business Route 5, Camdenton, MO 65020 (573) 346-2090. Condolences may be left online for the family at www.hedgesscottmillard.com.
